group at the Great (and they mean GREAT) Sand Dunes.White Water Rafting on the Arkansas River in May. We drove from The Woodlands to Lake Meredith. Camped there in the rain and wind, then drove the next day to Buena Vista. Rafted for three days. Drove to Great Sand Dunes Nat'l Mon., Camped there two nights, then drove back. Piece of cake.
